Each week kids run an age-appropriate race: 50- and 75-yard dashes for 2- to 5-year-olds, a quarter mile for kindergarten and first grade, a half mile for grades 2-3 and a mile for grades 4-8. Runners earn points each week toward series standings, everyone gets a medal in week 5, and trophies go to top finishers in each division. A Challenger Division offers an adaptive 75-yard race for children with disabilities or special needs, and family members may run alongside. The series fee covers all five weeks, bibs, a shirt and a medal; walk-up single-day entries open an hour before each race on site but do not count for scoring or include a shirt. ## Similar picks in Jacksonville - [Jacksonville Icemen Halloween Game](https://grassyknees.com/jacksonville/activities/jacksonville-icemen-halloween-game--listing-3df410e248ff59b23cfd91ff) — Sat, Oct 31 · 3:00 PM · VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena · Paid · checked Oct 24.
