The 5K runs 8 to 10 am and welcomes strollers, wheelchairs and walkers; children 6 and under ride free in strollers and kids 7 to 12 have reduced entry. At 10:30 am Santa kicks off Santa's Family Fun Run outside near JCPenney, a free, non-competitive holiday run where Santa and other holiday characters cheer families on; costumes are encouraged, and the first 100 fun-run participants get a $10-off Santa photo certificate and a free cookie from Mrs. Claus. The fun run needs its own (free) registration. The event is a collaboration of the Veterans Council of Clay County, Clay County government and the mall. ## Similar picks in Jacksonville - [St. Johns County Parks & Rec Family Color Run 5K](https://grassyknees.com/jacksonville/activities/st-johns-county-parks-and-rec-family-color-run-5k--listing-60143c36256fa8e7baa177e9) — Sat, Nov 14 · 9:00 AM · St. Johns County Fairgrounds, Elkton · All ages · From $25 · checked Oct 24.
