The site tells the stories of the people who were enslaved here, some of whom later became free landowners, as well as the Kingsley family. An audio tour, The Lion's Storyteller, guides a self-paced visit, and children can ask about the Junior Ranger program. On weekends the inside of the planter's home opens for limited open houses.
