It is the December counterpart to the October Halloween Train on the same line and suits toddlers through grade-schoolers who love trains, with grown-ups riding along. Rides are paid individually ($2 per ride) or as a 10-ride punch for $15, so families can decide on the spot how many loops to take. Dress for the weather, since the ride and the waiting area are outdoors in December; the event runs four hours, so you can drop in for a quick ride or two rather than plan around a set start time. ## Similar picks in Kansas City - [The Polar Express in Concert (Kansas City Symphony)](https://grassyknees.com/kansas-city/activities/the-polar-express-in-concert-kansas-city-symphony--listing-23390b80961b6092bd466314) — Wed, Dec 23 (+1 more date) · 7:00 PM · Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts · Paid · checked Oct 20.
