Families can keep a dog in a Halloween costume for a contest at 2:00 pm, sit for a fall photo, and pick up treats meant for the dogs. A puppy paint activity costs $5. The listing is a family outdoor afternoon rather than a class, and children who do not have a dog can still come for the paint and the photos, though the page is written around bringing a dog. It starts at 1:00 pm. The page does not say the park charges admission for the afternoon itself. Bring a leash and water for the dog, and expect an outdoor park in early November. ## Similar picks in Kansas City - [The Hunt at Meadowbrook Park](https://grassyknees.com/kansas-city/activities/the-hunt-at-meadowbrook-park--listing-10fb15b64657c38682cce26a) — Fri, Nov 6 · 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM · Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse, Prairie Village · From $13 · checked Oct 16.
