Children hear how large turkeys can grow and why the bird shows up so often in American holiday meals, framed as a race question: are you faster than a turkey. The city calls it a free educational talk and asks families to register by November 7. The listing does not give a registration link or a phone number on this page, and it does not print an end time. It is one indoor session at the nature park hall, aimed at families rather than a school class. Arrive at 1:00 pm. ## Similar picks in Kansas City - [STEAM TEAM: Turkey Artbots](https://grassyknees.com/kansas-city/activities/steam-team-turkey-artbots--listing-13a3b261505ab4567fd7ba01) — Wed, Nov 18 · 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM · Main Library · Ages 8–18 · checked Oct 16.
