Families meet him at 201 E. Broadway, pick up reindeer food, and then line up for a trolley ride through the Lane of Lights, so the visit is both a photo stop and a short lighted ride rather than a studio sitting. The page says the evening is free and is run by the Downtown Excelsior Partnership together with the Excelsior Springs Area Chamber of Commerce and Jade Williams Photography. It does not say families must reserve a time slot, and it does not print a limit on how many children can be in a photo. The window is 6:00 to 8:00 pm, which is after dark and outdoors or at the historic hall entrance, so bring coats. This is separate from the November 21 parade. ## Similar picks in Kansas City - [Pictures With Santa at Louisburg Cider Mill](https://grassyknees.com/kansas-city/activities/pictures-with-santa-at-louisburg-cider-mill--listing-29afc8c637392dc1d2bb3b6d) — Sat, Dec 12 · 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM · Louisburg Cider Mill Country Store · Free · checked Oct 14.
