Kid-friendly highlights listed in the schedule include Toys through Time corn husk dolls, a Vegas PBS Kids booth, a kids' game corner with chess, fiddlesticks, jump rope and wooden spinning tops to paint, face painting, milking a cow with the Nevada Farm Bureau, a small-animals corner, tractor rides (12:30-2:30), and booths from DISCOVERY Children's Museum, the Mesquite STEAM Center and a BLM ranger talking about local wildlife. There are also printing press, flax-to-linen and cattle branding demonstrations, history displays from local museums and a genealogy workshop, plus lunch provided by Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick from noon to 3 pm and a closing quilt raffle.
