East Las Vegas Library marks Día de Muertos with a special bilingual (English and Spanish) storytime read by community members, followed by a sugar skull decorating craft. The program explains the tradition of honoring loved ones who have died through stories and calaveritas de azúcar, and gives families a hands-on way to take part in the holiday. It runs 90 minutes on a Saturday afternoon and is recommended for ages 5 and up. Free and open to the public.
