This session reads Raven: A Trickster Tale from the Pacific Northwest by Gerald McDermott, a picture book inspired by traditional stories of Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest, in which clever Raven sets off on an adventure to bring light to the world. The hour-long program pairs the read-aloud with listening, imagination and group discussion, aimed at children ages 3 to 8 and their grown-ups. It is included with museum admission or membership. Supplies for the session are limited and given out first come, first served; the museum asks families to RSVP online. ## Similar picks in Las Vegas - [Early Explorers: Buffalo Storytime (The Gift of the Great Buffalo)](https://grassyknees.com/las-vegas/activities/early-explorers-buffalo-storytime-the-gift-of-the-great-buffalo--listing-3fd122dc3b082f5a077829a1) — Sun, Nov 15 · 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM · Las Vegas Natural History Museum · Ages 3–8 · With admission · checked Oct 24.
