Balloon Shows USA brings its Las Vegas Hot Air Balloon Festival to Craig Ranch Regional Park for two evenings. Tethered hot air balloons are lit up after dark in a balloon glow, a laser light show is synchronized to music, and tethered balloon rides can be reserved separately. Gates open at 5 pm and the city lists the event until 11 pm both nights. It is a third-party ticketed event, not run by the city: tickets are sold through Freshtix and the organizer lists prices from $10 to $75. Children who are up past dark get the most from it; bring a jacket for a cool desert evening.
