Tealights mark the way on a 1.5-mile out-and-back night hike to the Fire Wave formation at Valley of Fire. Loose sand and rocky terrain with one area of stone steps. Arrive by 8 p.m.; be back at your vehicle by 9 p.m. Bring a flashlight (red, blue or green preferred).
