The ballet follows Clara, who is given a nutcracker doll at her family's Christmas party and, in her dream that night, travels with the doll-turned-prince through lands of dancing snowflakes and sweets. Principal casts rotate by performance, and the center publishes the casting for each date. Weekend matinees start at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., with a noon show on December 24; evening shows start at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $39, and the center notes that early-bird prices go up on Thanksgiving Day. ## Similar picks in Los Angeles - [Los Angeles Ballet: The Nutcracker at Royce Hall](https://grassyknees.com/los-angeles/activities/los-angeles-ballet-the-nutcracker-at-royce-hall--listing-02ce5d7e6c54da6e7b10495b) — Fri, Dec 11 (+2 more dates) · 7:30 PM · Royce Hall, UCLA · Paid · checked Oct 14.
