LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes hosts an afternoon of live entertainment, hands-on workshops, a community ofrenda and special guests from Oaxaca, organized with Organización Regional de Oaxaca (ORO). Performances include Grupo Folklórico Princesa Donaji, Familia Zapoteca de Villa Hidalgo Yalalag and Los Elejidos de Asís. Workshops include papier-mâché mask painting, flower crowns and herb bundles; children who complete the workshop series collect stamps and receive a giveaway. Visitors may contribute to the community ofrenda. Food available for purchase.
