Ritchie Valens Recreation Center in Pacoima gives its Halloween night an ice-cream theme. The first 100 people get an 'Eye-Scream' scoop, and kids can make ice-cream crafts and explore an ice-cream-scented sensory sand station designed for touch and smell. There is also a bounce house, games, basket prizes, raffles, candy, music and face painting, with the costume contest starting at 7:30 pm. It runs 4 to 8 pm on Friday, October 30, for all ages, free.
