A Saturday-morning Jr. Ranger session at Heritage Hill Historical Park in Lake Forest, an OC Parks historical park. Children explore the park, complete Jr. Ranger activities and take the OC Parks Jr. Ranger Oath to earn a badge unique to Heritage Hill. Led by the park's interpretive programs curator, the session is designed for ages 7 to 12 with all ages welcome; a parent or guardian must accompany minors. Sunscreen, sturdy footwear and water are recommended. Both the program and parking are free. Advance registration is required, and inclement weather cancels the program.
