The second level of South Whittier Library's sewing class for kids ages 8 to 12, for children who have already taken Sewing for Kids 1: Machine Basics. Each month participants use the sewing machines to make a new project that builds their skills; in November the project is quilted ornaments, ready for holiday gifting or the family tree. The session runs two hours, 4 to 6 pm on Tuesday, November 17. Registration is required, and the library asks that only children who completed Sewing 1 sign up.
