LA Phil's Symphonies for Youth concert for children ages 5–11 and their families at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The program introduces Saint-Saëns through music, storytelling and animation: the spooky Danse macabre, Danse bacchanale and The Carnival of the Animals, accompanied by PBS KIDS' new full-length animation for the suite. Pre-concert hands-on art and sound activities begin at 10 am (free for ticketholders); the 45-minute concert starts at 11 am, no intermission. Children under 2 not admitted.
