World premiere of Olivier Award-winning playwright Mike Kenny's Winter's Bench, directed by Debbie Devine, starring Anne Gee Byrd with Shih-wei Wu. An old woman returns to an abandoned park where one ancient tree remains, certain it once spoke to her; the play explores the relationship between nature and humans and the role of memory. 24th Street Theatre specializes in sophisticated theatre for young people and their families. Saturdays 8 pm, Sundays 2 pm through October 25.
