WOW! That's STEM leads an after-school engineering workshop at La Cañada Flintridge Library for children ages 6 to 12. Kids build working catapults from popsicle sticks and rubber bands and test them while learning how Newton's laws of motion explain each launch. It runs 4 to 5 pm on Thursday, November 12. Attendance is limited and advance registration is required for every person in the party, including kids.
