## About

The Museum of Discovery and Science's Sprouting STEM early-childhood area offers open play for children from birth to age 6, with learning-through-play experiences, social time and STEM activities, plus short caregiver-and-me classes for the youngest visitors. Little Seedlings (6–18 months) mixes tummy time with first steps in science, and Little Sprouts "Blossoming Character" (18–36 months) builds confidence, kindness and curiosity through cooperative play, circle time and STEM discovery. The drop-in lab runs Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1–4 p.m., and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 1–4 p.m. Classes are first come, first served with limited space, and families must arrive within the first 15 minutes of class time. Everything is free for members and included with museum admission for non-members.
