## About

Riveredge Nature Center's One Watershed project hosts a free family craft afternoon in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood, in the Woodshed event space at Amorphic Beer on North Fratney Street. Families make crafts tied to the health of the Milwaukee River watershed: projects about water infrastructure, restoring habitat, and Riveredge's Return the Sturgeon effort, which has been bringing lake sturgeon back to the Milwaukee River. It is a relaxed drop-in style afternoon where children can sit down with a project, learn a little about the river they live near and take their creation home; preschoolers will need a grown-up's help, while school-age kids can work more independently. All ages are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult. The session is free. Pre-registration is not required but is highly recommended so organizers can plan supplies, and questions go to the program contact named on the event page. The venue is a brewery's event room, booked for this family program.
