## About

Amateur astronomer Jim Hahn of the Northern Cross Science Foundation introduces the strange 'species' of the universe — quasars, pulsars, supernovas, black holes and white dwarfs — and explains how they form and how astronomers know about them. After the indoor talk the group looks at the sky through telescopes if it is clear, or on screen if not. All ages are welcome with an adult; a good evening for space-curious older kids and teens. Pre-registration is recommended because space is limited.
