## About

A winter-break morning in the Tropical Dome built around hands-on nature learning. With an activity kit, children get into Education Center activities closed to other visitors, a tropical-themed craft station, a meet-the-dart-frogs moment with Rainforest Rick, a real beehive station about pollinators, a word-scramble scavenger hunt through the Tropical Dome, an educator-led mini program in the lobby and tasting of tropical fruit such as soursop and tamarind, plus a take-home activity. Kids can also blend tropical smoothies (smoothies are for purchase). The organizer pitches it for ages 5 to 10 but welcomes all ages, and suggests wearing island shirts under winter coats.
