Instructors show participants how to put on snowshoes and walk in them, lead a guided walk on the park's snowy trails, and then gather everyone around a fire to roast marshmallows and make s'mores. All equipment is provided, and if there is no snow the group goes for a hike instead. The program runs from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, during winter break, and is offered in partnership with Scott County. It is open to ages 5 and up; children 11 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult. The fee is $12 per person, and the program is outdoors, so dress for the weather. ## Similar picks in Minneapolis - [Snowshoe Hike at Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park (ages 12+)](https://grassyknees.com/minneapolis/activities/snowshoe-hike-at-coon-rapids-dam-regional-park-ages-12--listing-173e0fbbf8804d8500e4190c) — Wed, Dec 30 · 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM · Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park · Ages 12+ · From $15 · checked Oct 28.
