A daytime Halloween party on the Zoo's Central Plaza on Saturday, October 31, from 10 am to 1 pm. Kids can dance at a Halloween dance party, make Halloween arts and crafts, and walk the trails to see which animals are getting pumpkins and other seasonal enrichment treats. Costumes are encouraged, but the Zoo asks that they be family-friendly, allow safe movement through the grounds, and include no props that resemble weapons. October 31 is also the final day of the Keebler Spookie Stripes Safari, a QR-code trail game that starts at the South Entry. The Zoo pitches it as a way to burn off energy before trick-or-treating at home. The party is part of a regular daytime visit, so plan on general Zoo admission and parking.
