Felter Jen Newburg leads pairs through shaping and decorating a pocket-sized wool tomte (the Swedish holiday gnome) and a small creature companion, for display or imaginative play. Needle felting means poking colorful wool into shape with a special needle; the class is open to all skill levels. Advance registration is required, and a $25 materials fee covering all tools and wool is paid to the instructor in class. ASI asks families to contact it about space for extra children with one registered adult. ## Similar picks in Minneapolis - [Sundays at Landmark: Santa's Workshop](https://grassyknees.com/minneapolis/activities/sundays-at-landmark-santa-s-workshop--listing-351508f318f8e4c0f0f1d3cd) — Sun, Dec 13 · 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM · Landmark Center (Musser Cortile), Saint Paul · Free · checked Oct 16.
