Families sign up for a private 10-minute, one-on-one visit with Santa in the Plymouth Community Center's calming sensory space, so a child can meet Santa without a long line or a busy mall around them. While they are there, families can also join other sensory-friendly activities: holiday crafts, reading with therapy animals and sensory play. The city frames it for children with sensory needs or sensory processing difficulties, for whom a regular Santa line during the holidays is too much. ## Similar picks in Minneapolis - [Sensory-Friendly Santa Morning — Caring Santa® at Southdale Center](https://grassyknees.com/minneapolis/activities/sensory-friendly-santa-morning-caring-santa-at-southdale-center--listing-2a3d2a70f372be51b2a5059a) — Sun, Dec 6 · 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM · Southdale Center (Santa Photo Experience, Center Court, Level 1), Edina · sensory-friendly · checked Oct 27.
