## About

The older-elementary version of ASI's monthly handcraft studio. In this two-hour December session, Anna Ruhland teaches grades 3-5 to work with straw the way Swedes do at the holidays, making star-shaped straw ornaments from straw or compostable straws to keep or give as gifts. Slöjd Studio aims to build skill with new tools, techniques and materials over the year. It is a drop-off program (adults may not accompany children) and advance registration is required.
