Drop-in science program at the Bell Museum on Saturday, October 24, 2026, 10:00 am-2:00 pm, with University of Minnesota researchers and partners. Explore semi-aquatic mammal specimens with Dr. Sharon Jansa's lab, learn about wetlands with the MSP Long Term Ecological Research project, climb through a life-sized beaver lodge and beaver pond maze with Dr. Emily Fairfax's Beaver Shanty, meet Science Museum of Minnesota fossil experts to learn about the giant beaver, build dams on a stream table, make beaver hand puppets and add to a community dam collage. Included with regular admission.
