A hands-on program at Eastman Nature Center tied to the Wandering Naturalist podcast's November episodes on Native American games. Tony Drews of Nashke Games and his team bring Ojibwe games developed with advice from Native Elders, explain their place in Ojibwe history, language and culture, and teach participants to play four to five of them. Open to ages 5 and up, so it works for school-age children with a parent. The session runs 90 minutes on a Saturday morning; equipment is provided and close-toed shoes are required. Registration and a $6 per person fee apply.
