Costumed musicians, dancers and carolers fill the street, and children can meet and talk with Dickens characters: the nefarious Fagin from Oliver Twist, Jacob Marley, Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the rest of the Cratchit family from A Christmas Carol, plus a Victorian Father and Mother Christmas who hand out treats to kids. A Victorian Village block has holiday dancers and entertainers, StoryTimes run during the festival, and there is live music on the Main Stage and an Acoustic Stage. An artisan marketplace and food vendors line the street and downtown shops stay open.
