In the studios, children make tech-inspired paper pixel-art collages, holiday scratch-art ornaments and decorated kaleidoscopes inspired by artist Saya Woolfalk. The upper galleries offer a multisensory cart with touchable objects, a Judaica scavenger hunt with a prize, bug bingo, and a display of student-designed menorahs. Belmont entomologist Dr. Steve Murphree brings live insects for Bug and Tell, Rafael Merino plays the theremin, the youth chamber group Orchestra Tikvah performs, and Glam Up Nashville adds disco hair strands and rhinestones. Community groups such as the Cumberland River Compact and Turnip Green Creative Reuse host hands-on tables, and a Challah-Day Market sells local goods.
