The program looks at how wildlife stores nuts, builds warm homes and finds food, and how animals stay safe through the winter. It is open to all ages, making it a good Saturday-morning outing for preschoolers through teens with their grown-ups. The session runs from 10 am to noon on November 7. Registration opens October 24; reserve by emailing the nature center or calling 615-862-8555. ## Similar picks in Nashville - [Junior Naturalist: Beginning Birds](https://grassyknees.com/nashville/activities/junior-naturalist-beginning-birds--listing-bb6002d8caa99c8baa2c8055) — Sat, Nov 7 · 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM · Shelby Bottoms Nature Center · Ages 6+ · checked Oct 24.
