On October 26, children can spend the whole day at ArtQuest's interactive stations (painting, printmaking, animation and more) and explore the exhibitions Shimmer: Dreaming the Posthuman and Robin Vuchnich's In Search of Thoreau's Flowers on their own. Museum art teachers lead short tours of Shimmer at 10:30 and 11:30 am, starting at the Information Desk inside the Main-Level gallery entrance, and a docent-guided walk-up tour for all ages starts at 1:30 pm with no reservation. Guests 18 and under are free, and accompanying adults pay a discounted rate. There is no Homeschool Monday in November or December because of the holidays. ## Similar picks in Nashville - [Teen Fest: Halloween at the Frist](https://grassyknees.com/nashville/activities/teen-fest-halloween-at-the-frist--listing-9430c88b7da733490ce9382f) — Sat, Oct 31 · 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM · Frist Art Museum · Free · checked Oct 24.
