Tulip Grove is decorated with 19th-century holiday décor, and children can try family-friendly crafts, games and storytelling, visit with Santa Claus and watch live entertainment. A Christmas Market and festive food and drinks round out the day. Historical interpreters explain how both the Jackson family and the enslaved community at The Hermitage observed the holidays, so older children get a real history lesson alongside the fun. The festival runs from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, December 5; tickets are sold online in advance. ## Similar picks in Nashville - [Daytime Visits with Santa at Cheekwood](https://grassyknees.com/nashville/activities/daytime-visits-with-santa-at-cheekwood--listing-1e32851874701ff3c6655876) — Sat, Dec 12 (+10 more dates) · 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM · Cheekwood Estate & Gardens · All ages · With admission · checked Oct 24.
