During Thanksgiving week, Warner Park Nature Center naturalist Vera Roberts leads a rugged hike through the Hill Forest, an undisturbed ecosystem in Warner Parks, exploring its hills and hollows. The Tuesday-morning hike runs from 9:30 am to noon and is for ages 13 and up, so it suits teens on school break who are comfortable with steep, uneven trails. Wear sturdy footwear and bring water. Registration opens November 10 by emailing the nature center or calling 615-862-8555; the meeting point is shared at sign-up.
