Participants learn about artists such as David M. Bird and Raku Inoue, who turn bits of nature into striking artworks, then take a fall stroll through the gardens to collect their own found objects. Back indoors, everyone uses what they gathered to make an original piece of art, with all other materials provided. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult, and pre-registration is required. ## Similar picks in New York - [“Trees of Thanks” Tour & Workshop](https://grassyknees.com/new-york/activities/trees-of-thanks-tour-and-workshop--listing-ccd325852cbcc2196c7525c9) — Sat, Nov 21 · 11:00 AM · Old Westbury Gardens — Westbury House (Red Ballroom) · All ages · checked Oct 30.
