Children record stories in a journal, build with sticks, stems, rocks and blocks, and dig into gentle gardening with soil, water, bulbs, roots or seeds. Each session ends with gratitude for forest friends and a cup of warm tea. Dress for the weather, bring a snack and register in advance. ## Similar picks in New York - [Little Explorers (Ages 3–5) — Muscoot Farm](https://grassyknees.com/new-york/activities/little-explorers-ages-3-5-muscoot-farm--listing-cc4fdbc674e80015e29c92d6) — Tue, Nov 10 (+3 more dates) · 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM · Alfred B.
