Families can shoot hoops in the climate-controlled gymnasium, and the lobby's air hockey and ping pong tables are open during open gym too, which makes it an easy rainy-day or after-school outing. No registration is needed: pay $8 per person per day at the center (cash, check or card), or buy a $50 Fort Monmouth Activity Pass good for 10 visits. Open gym is open to all ages, but kids 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Hours change from day to day, so check the park system's Open Gym & Drop-Ins Schedule before you go; separate pickleball open play is for ages 16 and up. ## Similar picks in New York - [Ecozone Discovery Room Open Afternoons — Pocono Environmental Education Center](https://grassyknees.com/new-york/activities/ecozone-discovery-room-open-afternoons-pocono-environmental-education--listing-f0bdb63b90f6a342958787e2) — Sat, Nov 7 (+1 more date) · 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM · Pocono Environmental Education Center, Dingmans Ferry · From $3 · checked Oct 24.
