Every weekend in October the Prospect Park Zoo celebrates Halloween: visit the tombstones of extinct animals in Sea Lion Court and learn why extinction isn't inevitable, walk the Spooky Trail to meet nocturnal neighbors, try hands-on Spooky Science and watch special live performances. Come in costume; the zoo notes the program is free with admission and many dates sell out.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Prospect Park Alliance series page gives 10 AM–5:30 PM and $3–$12; the zoo's own page says 'every weekend in October', 'Free with admission' and 'many dates sell out' but lists no hours or address. Oct 31 included as an October weekend day; Nov 1 not included. Numeric price left null because the admission tiers were not verified on the zoo's ticket page.
