Students choose their own subject, from saucers to superheroes, working from their own photos or the instructor's references. Carol Colvin teaches drawing skills, materials, color, composition, design and value using pencils, watercolor, acrylic and pastel. Teens bring their own supplies; beginners need a sketch pad, drawing pencils and a kneaded eraser. ## Similar picks in New York - [Weekly Art Class for Teens](https://grassyknees.com/new-york/activities/weekly-art-class-for-teens--listing-12297e272e20748df284db8a) — Ongoing · TRAC Toms River Artist Community · Ages 12–16 · checked Oct 30.
