Families stroll from store to store in costume collecting treats, making it a relaxed, daytime alternative to neighborhood trick-or-treating that works well for younger children. No other activities are listed, so plan on a simple costume walk through the shopping village. ## Similar picks coming up in New York - [The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze](https://grassyknees.com/new-york/activities/the-great-jack-o-lantern-blaze--listing-fa70b26f3410b52bbfb51ece) — Oct 14 – Nov 8 · Van Cortlandt Manor, Croton-on-Hudson · All ages · From $24 · checked Oct 14.
