Great Day in the Country is a long-running two-day arts and crafts festival hosted by the Oviedo Woman's Club at the Oviedo Mall, set up both inside and outside the mall. Vendors cover arts and crafts, food, local businesses and community groups, and proceeds support local Oviedo scholarships, schools and community grants. It is an easy weekend outing with children: browse handmade gifts, snack from the food vendors and use the mall for restrooms and shade. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free, but parking costs $10.
