Orlando Shakespeare Theater's 38th-season Children's Series stages Barry Kornhauser's adaptation of Don Freeman's picture book Corduroy, the story of a department-store bear searching for the button he lost so he can finally go home. The play runs about 60 minutes without an intermission in the Margeson Theater, which suits preschool and early-elementary attention spans. Public weekend performances in the research window are Saturday Oct 24 (10:30 AM sensory-friendly performance, with support for children with sensory, social, cognitive or physical needs, and 1:30 PM with a live ASL interpreter), Sunday Oct 25, Saturday Oct 31, Sunday Nov 1, Saturday Nov 7 and Sunday Nov 8, all at 10:30 AM. Orlando Shakes also offers study guides for school groups. Tickets are sold through the show page; the price is not printed there.
