A six-week Saturday drama class at Orlando Family Stage for first and second graders, inspired by The Hobbit. Young heroes pack their courage, step into character and set out on a quest, learning to create characters, play pretend in front of others, and use the actor's toolbox of body, voice, imagination and concentration to tell stories with a beginning, middle and end. It welcomes first-timers and budding performers alike. Classes meet Saturdays 9-10:30 a.m. on January 9, 16, 23, 30 and February 6, 13. Tuition is $225 for the session; members save.
