Young performers from Dr. Phillips Center's youth theater program stage Elf Jr., the stage-musical version of the story of Buddy, the human raised by elves at the North Pole who travels to New York City to find his father. Performances are in the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater on Friday, December 4 at 7 PM, and Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6 at 2 PM and 7 PM. The run time is about 1 hour 35 minutes, and the center lists it under its Family and Youth genres, making it a good first musical for school-age children and a fun outing for families with friends in the cast.
