Holiday Grinch Fest is a one-day holiday market on the lawn at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs. More than 40 vendors sell gifts and treats, local food trucks park on site, and families can line up for photos with both the Grinch and Santa Claus. It is a relaxed way to start holiday shopping with children in tow: strollers fit easily on the paved paths around the lake, and kids usually treat the character photos as the main event. The market runs five hours, so a short visit after lunch works well. This is a rental event run by an outside organizer on city property, so check the organizer's event website (linked from the city listing) for any photo fees or vendor details before you go.
