The NHL-sized Main Rink (200 x 85 ft) hosts the busier sessions, with a DJ and disco lights on Friday and Saturday nights; the smaller Studio Rink (85 x 40 ft) runs quieter sessions, mostly on weeknights and Sunday evenings, and suits first-timers and families with young children. Helmets and bucket-style skating aids are free, and children who are not ready to skate can rent a 'Bobby the Seal' ride-on sled. No reservations are needed for public sessions; tickets can be pre-purchased online. Sessions typically run 2–3 hours (weekday mid-days on the Main Rink, plus afternoon and evening sessions on weekends), but the schedule changes and updates on the rink's live calendar. The arena also runs a skating school with classes for tots to adults, youth hockey, curling and birthday parties. ## Similar picks in Orlando - [Axel's Skating School learn-to-skate ice classes at Ice Factory (ages 4+)](https://grassyknees.com/orlando/activities/axel-s-skating-school-learn-to-skate-ice-classes-at-ice-factory-ages-4--listing-45519070dcb4536d263bddce) — Weekly on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays; e.g. Snowplow Sam (tots) Wed 5:30–6:15 PM and Sat… · Ice Factory of Central Florida, Kissimmee · Ages 4+ · From $99 · checked Oct 24.
