## About

Altamonte Springs opens its holiday season with an evening at Cranes Roost Park, presented by the city and Duke Energy. The program includes live music and festive entertainment, appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a fireworks display over the lake. The park is decorated with more than one million lights and a 60-foot Christmas tree hung with thousands of ornaments and garland, and the lights stay up through the season for later evening walks around the lake. Admission is free; food and drinks are sold on site. Arrive early for a spot near the water if children want to see the fireworks up close.
